The Fairfax Bar Association (FBA) is acknowledged as an accredited sponsor of Virginia approved MCLE courses.
Live Seminars: The FBA offers a variety of seminars for the continued professional development of its members. Click to view our current calendar of events.

Podcast Seminars: The FBA is proud to be the first Bar Association in the Commonwealth of Virginia to offer podcast MCLE courses accredited by the Virginia State Bar. Podcasts are downloadable audio files you can listen to on your portable MP3 player or on your computer. To view a complete list of available podcast seminars, click here.
Cancellation Policy: The FBA reserves the right to modify or cancel a program if circumstances warrant. If the FBA cancels a program, full registration fees will be refunded. Cancellations by program participants received in writing (2) business days prior to the seminar will be fully refunded. Cancellations by program participants received fewer than (2) business days prior to the seminar will be refunded less a $25 service fee. No refunds will be given to registrants who are pre-registered and fail to attend or cancel their reservation. Upon request, course materials are available in consideration of fees paid. If a participant has pre-registered without payment, failure to attend or cancel will result in receipt of an invoice for the full fees with payment due in 15 business days.
Register at Door: At-door registrations will be limited to available seating space; however, please call the FBA office in advance to confirm date, location, space availability, etc. If a participant registers the day of a seminar, a $10 on-site registration fee will apply. In order to be PCI Compliant, the FBA prefers to accept checks and cash for registrations on-site.
IRS Federal Requirement: Payment for conferences/seminars are not deductible as charitable contributions for Federal Income Tax purposes; however, may be deductible for ordinary business expenses. Please consult with your tax advisor.
Media Policy: Registrants, instructors, exhibitors and guests attending FBA events agree they may be photographed, videotaped and/or recorded during the event. The photographic, video and recorded materials are the sole property of the FBA and the FBA reserves the right to use attendees’ names and likenesses in online or printed promotional materials, for online CLEs/podcasts or for any other legitimate purpose without providing monetary compensation.
