Free Ethics CLE: Lawyer Impairment and Three Strikes and You’re . . . Legal Ethics for the Busy Practitioner

Monday, October 30, 2017

4:30 – 6:30 PM

2.0 MCLE Credit Hours (2.0 Ethics) (Pending)

FREE for FBA Members/$100 Non-Members

This CLE will cover two ethical topics of particular importance to practitioners. The first hour will cover recent studies and legal ethics opinions (LEOs) regarding when lawyers themselves are impaired, either by drugs, alcohol, or other means, and the implications such impairment might have for the ethical duties of those who work with or for the impaired attorney. The second hour will address trending cases, causes, and strategies for busy practitioners, especially solo practitioners, regarding ethical issues that regularly arise but are sometimes overlooked.
