The purpose of the CLE is to assist attorneys in helping their clients resolve their disputes/cases in mediation by understanding how mediation works, what the attorney's role is as his/her client engages in mediation, how to protect a client's interests without obstructing resolution, and what to expect from the mediator. Additionally, Colleen Cramer of the Fairfax Juvenile Court Mediation Program, along with Judge Sotelo will talk about the procedures for attorneys who have clients participating in the Juvenile Court Mediation Program. The Program will also include an ethics portion.
