General District Court Policy Update

The Court is changing its policy requiring 48 hours notice to file a Motion to Withdraw as Counsel.
In those cases where the attorney certifies in their Motion that the Motion to Withdraw as Counsel is based on an ethical conflict, i.e. prior representation of co-defendant, or other ethical matter, but not failure to pay fees, the Motion may be filed for hearing on the next business day if filed by 3:00 p.m. the day before the Motion is to be heard.

48 HOURS NOTICE IS STILL REQUIRED FOR ALL OTHER MOTIONS TO WITHDRAW AS COUNSEL.
